For the Aeroméxico flight from Mexico City to Tegucigalpa, search for Palmerola (XPL). Toncontín (TGU) and Palmerola (XPL) are different airports. What is confirmed about the flight from Mexico
Honduras’s SAPP announced the resumption of MEX–XPL on 19 March 2026, operated by Aeroméxico, with four weekly flights in that announcement. The earlier claim of direct MEX–TGU flights with Aeroméxico and TAR is not supported by these sources. We do not publish a flight time, current frequency or starting fare for MEX–TGU. If an offer names Tegucigalpa as the city, open its details and check the airport code before paying.

Documents for Mexican citizens travelling as tourists
The Mexican foreign ministry’s Honduras guide says Mexican citizens do not need a tourist visa. It also calls for a passport valid for at least six months on entry and through the end of the trip, evidence of accommodation and funds for the visit. Immigration authorities determine admission and the permitted stay, up to the maximum described in that guide. Check the source before booking if your purpose is work, study or something other than tourism.
A US B1/B2 visa is not Honduras’s entry requirement. If you choose a connection in the United States or another country, check that country’s transit requirements separately for your passport and itinerary. They are different from the destination’s conditions.
